Unfortunately, at the present time, we are unable to take any additional bookings for the Tour to Beersheba.
The Department of Veteran Affairs have exhausted their allocation of tickets to commemorative events being held on the 31st October to mark the 100 year anniversary of the Charge of Beersheba. Whilst these constitute only some of the key events being held that day and alternative arrangements are being put in place for those without tickets, we are still waiting to hear an update from the Department on additional tickets that may yet be issued, and what alternative arrangements will be put in place. With that being the case, we have held off on taking additional tour bookings until the end of July once we will know more.
The Israel Travel Centre is however offering a tour waitlist which you are able to join. At the beginning of August, we will advise whether those on the waitlist will be able to join the tour. In addition to this, we will also register you with the Department of Veteran Affairs to join their waitlist for attendance pass tickets for the commemorative activities on the 31st October which are being issued on a first-come-first-serve basis.
To join our tour waitlist (and for us to register you with the Department of Veteran Affairs too), we require a $75 per person non-refundable waitlisting fee. In the event that we are unable to offer additional spots on the tour, this fee may be used as a travel credit for any future bookings with the Israel Travel Centre.
Whilst we apologise that we are unable to accommodate additional spots on the tour at this present stage, we would strongly recommend considering attending Beersheba after the 31st October. All of the key attractions will remain, and you will benefit from all the buzz and excitement of the 100 year anniversary without the overwhelming number of people that will naturally be descending on the small town of Beersheba to mark the occasion. Whilst we don't want to downplay the significance of the occasion, many people have decided to visit Beersheba and Israel after this busy period and for these reasons.
Nonetheless, if you did want to join the waitlist, please complete the form below and we'd be happy to add your name to the list.
We would also encourage individuals to consider a custom tour outside of the October 2017 time frame. For more information, please email us with the subject "Custom Tour Information Request".
